Back to the Future Comes to Marble Falls: Ms. Lollipop Brings the Community Together

At Mammoth Roofing & Solar, we believe strong communities are built by people who pour their hearts into what they do. Few embody that better than Ms. Lollipop Parties, Fun & Gifts, a longtime Marble Falls favorite that has turned creativity into connection for decades.

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Ms. Lollipop is once again giving the Hill Country a reason to gather. The DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future will return to 208 Main Street in Marble Falls for a free public celebration of the movie’s 40th anniversary (1985–2025).

The event runs all day and invites guests to dress up as their favorite Back to the Future or 1980s character, take photos with the DeLorean, and enjoy the kind of small-town magic that only happens on Main Street.

“Everything’s free. You just come out and enjoy the day,” says Cheryl, the owner behind Ms. Lollipop.

It’s a simple idea—but it captures exactly why her business has become such a cornerstone of downtown life. Ms. Lollipop isn’t just a gift shop. It’s a place built on joy, generosity, and community spirit.

A Business Rooted in Joy

Cheryl’s story started in 1982, when she first performed as Lollipop the Clown—doing magic shows, balloon art, and birthday parties. That creative spark turned into a storefront that continues to light up Main Street today.

Over the years, her events have brought families together and given visitors another reason to explore Marble Falls. During the pandemic, she helped breathe life back into downtown with the first Movie Car Day event in 2021, which featured the same DeLorean that will be back this year.

She didn’t host it for profit. She hosted it because she cares.

“I’ve always said it’s not about making money,” Cheryl told us. “It’s about giving to the community and having fun.”

We’re Proud to Tell This Story

At Mammoth Roofing & Solar, we work with incredible people all over Texas—business owners who take pride in their craft and go above and beyond for their neighbors. Ms. Lollipop is one of those people.

We’re proud to support a local business that puts people first, and we’re inspired by how Cheryl continues to make Marble Falls a place that feels like home.

The Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Celebration is more than just a movie tribute. It’s a reminder that great things happen when small businesses care deeply about the towns they serve.

So if you find yourself downtown this October, stop by 208 Main Street. Bring your family, snap a photo with the DeLorean, and experience what community looks like when everyone shows up.

About The Author

Founder. Builder. No Plan B.

For ten years, Scott worked jobs that looked stable on the surface—finance, insurance, corporate roles—but always felt like they belonged to someone else’s vision. He wasn’t building anything of his own, and the day-to-day offered little more than repetition.

After a personal and financial low point—including a Chapter 7 bankruptcy—he found himself starting over with almost nothing. A friend gave him a shot in roofing sales. Two small jobs in, someone wrote his commission on a napkin at a diner table. The number was more than he’d made in weeks. That’s when he saw what this industry could offer—not just income, but real ownership over your success.

From there, everything changed.

Scott built this company to give others the same shot he got. He doesn’t look for perfect résumés—he looks for people with drive, character, and something to prove. His goal is simple: train in weeks what took him a decade to learn, and create a path to success that’s real, not theoretical.

Today, he leads one of the fastest-growing roofing and solar teams in Texas—but he’s still walking jobs, coaching reps, and checking in with homeowners. Because no matter how big the company gets, the mission stays the same: do the job right, take care of your people, and never forget where you started.
