Blocked gutters are a common issue, especially in areas surrounded by trees. Debris like leaves, twigs, and dirt can accumulate, leading to water overflow and potential foundation damage.
Leaky gutters can cause water to drip near your home’s foundation, leading to costly repairs. While sectional gutters are prone to seam leaks, even seamless gutters can develop leaks due to damage or poor installation.
Texas’ shifting soils and extreme weather conditions can cause gutters to pull away from the fascia, leading to improper drainage and structural instability.
Older gutter systems, particularly those made of galvanized steel, are prone to rust and corrosion. This weakens the gutter structure and can result in leaks and sagging.
A damaged or improperly installed downspout can lead to poor water drainage, increasing the risk of foundation damage and landscaping issues.

Mike Griffith2024-04-13 Mammoth replaced our roof In October 2020. We had seen their work on a neighbor's house so we checked them out. Their online and BBB reviews were positive. From start to finish, they were very professional and responsive. Eddie Crowe assisted us in getting our insurance claim approved, including some supplemental items the original adjuster had not included.. He answered all our questions and then found a source for the Energy-star shingles we requested. The crew was amazing. They arrived early, wrapped our shrubs, and worked efficiently, which allowed for a one-day installation. They not only did a great job installing the new roof, but also in removing all the debris from our yard as well as our neighbors' yards. Finally, they quickly provided the supporting documentation for the insurance company which allowed us to receive the final claim payment within 3 days. We highly recommend Mammoth and Eddie. UPDATE April 2024: After a storm with high winds and heavy rain. we had a small leak around a vent flashing. Eddie and Tim responded the next day and quickly fixed the leak. Tim was very thorough in fixing the problem and did not rush the job. He also checked for anything that might become a problem later and resealed those areas. And Mammoth honored their lifetime warranty! Highly recommend Mammoth for any roofing jobs. Angela Watkins2024-04-10 Great service! Very prompt and professional. Completed the work in no time, will definitely use Mammoth roofing again. Thank you for your service! Jeff K2024-04-06 This company took the time of day to come out and help/work with me on my inconvenient schedule. They did a repair on a minor leak from a poor install from another roofing company and they identified/located the issue very swiftly and professionally. Rob Gonzales2024-04-02 Met with Scott to inspect my home after the big hail storm from last night which had about golf ball size hail. They inspected the roof and provided me pictures showing warning spots that may potentially lead to leaks in the future such as rusted nails that may expand but no immediate work was needed. Greatly appreciated the honesty provided by Scott and did not feel pressured at all to make any repairs. I will definitely work with mammoth in the future when repairs are needed and recommend to anyone needing roof repairs. Dan Guajardo2024-03-27 Mammoth made replacing our roof easy and extremely positive. We had a great experience with them from beginning until the end. We highly recommend them. Sarah Arias2024-03-25 Great people!! Great company, amazing service!! Would highly recommend!! Sally Dolan2024-03-24 One of the best companies I’ve used since moving to San Antonio. Tim Darby was polite and extremely professional. I will use this company again. David O'Neill2024-03-13 Tim Brady came from Mammoth Contracting because I had a roof issue. Tim diagnosed the problem repaired it and then inspected my entire roof. He went above and beyond. Great job. James Clark2024-03-07 Timothy has been with Mammoth Roofing from its beginning, which is evidence of the excellent work environment provided by the company. Timothy is both professional and friendly and has a wonderful sense of humor. He did a fantastic job of repairing some rodent damage that led to leaking through the front wall during heavy rains. He sealed up all the cracks and spaces and covered them with metal to prevent any further damage. A very professional job. On a more personal note, Tim has led an interesting life. It turns out that he and my wife were both raised in Cleveland, Ohio, so they reminisced about places, people and food. And he did not charge me for the extra time. In fact, I think he undercharged me for the work. James R. Clark, MS, MPH Tony Dubose2024-03-04 Responsive, fairly and very competitively priced and great customer service. I got lucky finding Mammoth Roofing, and hopefully this review will take luck out of your search for either a roofing repair service or a complete replacement!

Regular gutter cleaning is crucial, especially in areas prone to debris buildup. It's recommended to clean gutters at least twice a year, ideally in spring and fall, to prevent blockages and ensure proper water flow.
Signs of gutter issues include sagging, rust spots, leaks, and water overflow during rainfall. If you notice any of these signs, it's best to have professional gutter repair contractors conduct a gutter inspection to determine if repairs or replacements are needed.
Common gutter materials include aluminum, copper, and galvanized steel. Each has its benefits in terms of durability and aesthetics. Aluminum is lightweight and rust-resistant, while copper is durable and adds a distinctive look. Galvanized steel offers strength and affordability but is prone to rust over time.
Gutter guards are protective covers installed over gutters to prevent debris buildup while allowing water to flow through. They can be beneficial in reducing gutter maintenance, especially in areas with heavy foliage or debris.
Yes, properly installed and maintained gutters direct rainwater away from the foundation of your home, reducing the risk of basement flooding. Ensuring gutters are free from blockages and downspouts are positioned correctly can further mitigate this risk.
Texas experiences extreme weather variations, from heavy rainfall to intense heat. These conditions can put stress on gutters, leading to issues like expansion, contraction, and deterioration. It's essential to choose gutter materials and installation methods that can withstand Texas' harsh climate.
