Water Leaks:
Water damage in your home can lead to significant problems. Dark spots or stains on your ceiling indicate that your roof is failing. While a small, single leak can often be repaired, multiple leaks necessitate addressing the issue promptly and replacing your roof.
Missing or Damaged Shingles:
Missing or damaged shingles suggest that your roof may need replacement. The unpredictable Texas weather can cause shingles to be lost or entire sections of your roof to be damaged. If you notice missing or damaged shingles, contact our Texas roofers immediately.
The Age of Your Roof
Different roofing materials have varying lifespans with proper maintenance. Asphalt shingle roofs can last up to 20 years, while tile roofs can last up to 50 years. Severe storms can necessitate a replacement sooner. How old is your roof? If it’s nearing the end of its expected life, consider calling us for an inspection.

Here’s how to know when a roof repair may be enough and when a complete roof replacement is the better solution.
A roof repair is typically sufficient when the damage is minor and localized. In these cases, repairing the problem quickly can extend your roof’s lifespan and save you money in the short term. You might opt for a repair when:
Repairs can be a cost-effective option, particularly if your roof is still within its expected lifespan and the damage hasn’t affected large sections.
A residential roof replacement may be necessary if your roof has extensive damage or is approaching the end of its life. Opting for a replacement provides long-term peace of mind, knowing your home is protected with durable, new materials. A full roof replacement is usually the best option when:

Mike Griffith2024-04-13Mammoth replaced our roof In October 2020. We had seen their work on a neighbor's house so we checked them out. Their online and BBB reviews were positive. From start to finish, they were very professional and responsive. Eddie Crowe assisted us in getting our insurance claim approved, including some supplemental items the original adjuster had not included.. He answered all our questions and then found a source for the Energy-star shingles we requested. The crew was amazing. They arrived early, wrapped our shrubs, and worked efficiently, which allowed for a one-day installation. They not only did a great job installing the new roof, but also in removing all the debris from our yard as well as our neighbors' yards. Finally, they quickly provided the supporting documentation for the insurance company which allowed us to receive the final claim payment within 3 days. We highly recommend Mammoth and Eddie. UPDATE April 2024: After a storm with high winds and heavy rain. we had a small leak around a vent flashing. Eddie and Tim responded the next day and quickly fixed the leak. Tim was very thorough in fixing the problem and did not rush the job. He also checked for anything that might become a problem later and resealed those areas. And Mammoth honored their lifetime warranty! Highly recommend Mammoth for any roofing jobs.Angela Watkins2024-04-10Great service! Very prompt and professional. Completed the work in no time, will definitely use Mammoth roofing again. Thank you for your service!Jeff K2024-04-06This company took the time of day to come out and help/work with me on my inconvenient schedule. They did a repair on a minor leak from a poor install from another roofing company and they identified/located the issue very swiftly and professionally.Rob Gonzales2024-04-02Met with Scott to inspect my home after the big hail storm from last night which had about golf ball size hail. They inspected the roof and provided me pictures showing warning spots that may potentially lead to leaks in the future such as rusted nails that may expand but no immediate work was needed. Greatly appreciated the honesty provided by Scott and did not feel pressured at all to make any repairs. I will definitely work with mammoth in the future when repairs are needed and recommend to anyone needing roof repairs.Dan Guajardo2024-03-27Mammoth made replacing our roof easy and extremely positive. We had a great experience with them from beginning until the end. We highly recommend them.Sarah Arias2024-03-25Great people!! Great company, amazing service!! Would highly recommend!!Sally Dolan2024-03-24One of the best companies I’ve used since moving to San Antonio. Tim Darby was polite and extremely professional. I will use this company again.David O'Neill2024-03-13Tim Brady came from Mammoth Contracting because I had a roof issue. Tim diagnosed the problem repaired it and then inspected my entire roof. He went above and beyond. Great job.James Clark2024-03-07Timothy has been with Mammoth Roofing from its beginning, which is evidence of the excellent work environment provided by the company. Timothy is both professional and friendly and has a wonderful sense of humor. He did a fantastic job of repairing some rodent damage that led to leaking through the front wall during heavy rains. He sealed up all the cracks and spaces and covered them with metal to prevent any further damage. A very professional job. On a more personal note, Tim has led an interesting life. It turns out that he and my wife were both raised in Cleveland, Ohio, so they reminisced about places, people and food. And he did not charge me for the extra time. In fact, I think he undercharged me for the work. James R. Clark, MS, MPHTony Dubose2024-03-04Responsive, fairly and very competitively priced and great customer service. I got lucky finding Mammoth Roofing, and hopefully this review will take luck out of your search for either a roofing repair service or a complete replacement!
