Roof maintenance in San Antonio: a roof looked at once a year lasts years longer.
Pipe boots crack, sealant dries, a nail backs out, a vent screen tears. None of it leaks this year; all of it leaks in three. An annual tune-up finds the small things while they're small, and the photo report tells you exactly what your roof has left.
Photos, a written Roof Grade and a clear next step.

Photographed. Explained. Put in writing. What a Mammoth tune-up includes.
Attic moisture check
Stained decking, wet insulation, a bathroom fan venting into the attic. Half the story is up there.
Pipe flashings and sealant
Cracked pipe boots replaced with the Double Tusk™ Pipe Flashing System; exposed nail heads and sealant renewed.
Flashings and valleys
Chimney, wall and vent flashings checked and resealed; valleys and eaves cleared.
Ventilation
Intake and exhaust checked and cleared, because a hot attic ages every shingle above it.
Gutters
Cleared and checked for pitch and leaks; downspouts flushed.
The report
Photos of everything, a Roof Grade, and a plain list of what to watch next year.
Three ways to have it looked after.
Annual tune-up
One visit a year, everything above, the photo report, and priority scheduling after a storm.

Twice-yearly inspections with drain cleaning, seam checks and a report for the owner or board.
CommercialThe math on a tune-up.
- A pipe boot costs a few dollars to replace on a tune-up and a ceiling to ignore.
- Ventilation fixed early adds years to a shingle roof and cuts the cooling bill.
- Past customers get tune-up pricing on the roof we installed; ask when you book.
- Storm season is easier with a dated photo record of the roof before the hail.

Straight answers before you book.
Ask your local teamHow often should a roof be inspected?
Once a year, and after any hail or high-wind event. Older roofs and heavily treed lots benefit from twice.
Do you maintain roofs you didn't install?
Yes. Most tune-ups are on roofs someone else put on; the report tells you what they did and didn't do.
Do you clean roofs?
Moss, debris and light cleaning as part of the tune-up. We don't pressure-wash shingles, which strips the granules.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes — it's the same Roof Grade visit for every service. Attic first, 75–150 photos, the 32-point Hunter-Gatherer Report, a letter grade and a plain-English verdict. You get the written report whether you hire us or not.
Will you tell me if I don't need the work?
Yes. An A grade is a handshake and a date to look again. A B means a few small repairs, priced in the open, on a roof with years left in it. We'd rather be the roofer you call in ten years than the one who sold you a roof you didn't need.
What warranty comes with the work?
Repairs carry a workmanship warranty in writing on the invoice. Full replacements carry the Mammoth Two Tusk Limited Lifetime Warranty: our 10-year workmanship warranty on the installation, plus the manufacturer's limited lifetime material warranty on the roofing materials. Ask us for the warranty document and read it before you sign.
