## Seven things that move a roofing quote.

Every one is a physical detail of your roof. The written quote makes the scope clear.

- **Size**: Measured in squares (100 sq ft). We measure it; we don't guess from the street.

- **Pitch**: Steeper roofs mean slower work and more equipment. It's a real cost, and we show it.

- **Complexity**: Valleys, dormers, hips and the number of planes. A simple gable and a cut-up roof are different jobs.

- **Penetrations**: Every pipe, vent, skylight and satellite mount is a flashing detail — and a future leak if it's rushed.

- **Materials**: Three-tab, architectural, Class 4, metal, stone-coated steel. We show the price of each, side by side.

- **Decking**: What's under the old shingles decides more than the shingles do. Rotten decking is priced per sheet, not as a surprise.

- **Ventilation**: If the attic can't breathe, the new roof ages like the old one. Intake and exhaust are on every quote.

- **A number you can check**: Every quote shows the squares, the pitch and the line items. Take it to another roofer. We're happy for them to try to beat it.

## The four things that decide it.

- Age. Under 12 years with one problem: repair. Over 18 with three: the math flips.

- Spread. One slope or every slope? Isolated damage repairs; system-wide wear doesn't.

- What's under it. Soft decking or wet insulation means the repair is only the visible part.

- The next storm. A roof that's at risk before hail season is a claim waiting to happen — sometimes a repair now is the cheapest replacement you'll ever buy.

Yes — it's the same Roof Grade visit. You get the written Hunter-Gatherer Report whether you hire us or not.

### Will you tell me if I don't need a repair?

Yes. An A grade is a handshake and a date to look again. We'd rather be the roofer you call in ten years.

### Is the repair covered by a warranty?

Repairs carry a workmanship warranty in writing on the invoice. Full replacements carry the Mammoth Two Tusk Limited Lifetime Warranty: our 10-year workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer's limited lifetime material warranty.

### Can a repair be claimed on insurance?

Sometimes — storm damage often qualifies, wear and tear doesn't. We document it either way and tell you honestly which one you have. We never touch your deductible; that's the law in Texas (HB 2102) and it's how we work.
